Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus
Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus is a novel written by Mary Shelley in 1818 when she was just 18 years old. Its narrative revolves around a young scientist, Victor Frankenstein, who animates lifeless matter, giving rise to an immortal, nameless being trapped in eternal isolation. Rediscovering this text after two centuries initiates a visual dialogue, bridging past and present, creator and creation, and the story's monsters with potential monstrosities within our contemporary society.
